#2 Oil Level (may reassign SAT radio)

#3 Navigation Map

#4 USB/IPOD

#5 Unassigned (will likely assign Sport Drivetrain/Suspension setting)

#6 Unassigned ( no idea :dunno: )

1 - Sirius LEFT
2 - Sirius Classic Rock
3 - Sirius Chill
4 - Sirius Electric Area
5 - NAV - Westin Munich (from EU Delivery)
6 - NAV - Interalpin Hotel Tyrol (from EU Delivery)

We won't change 5 or 6 as a fond memory of our EU Delivery experience and our advisor at BMW who did the programming.

Pretty cool - so for now you have primarily assigned Audio and Nav functions. Only reason why I didn't assign radio station presets as its available directly via the radio button - secondary menu or through voice control. Come to think of it voice control is a convenient method of access, which I still haven't used much outside of Nav commands. These cars have so many
features/functions it takes an entire weekend to digest the manual.

I'm not complaining:) !

BTW: Love Sirius Chill - 1 of the top 5 XM station settings for me on all of our vehicles. I will have to check out the classic rock station:thumbup:

I have Route Information, Address Book, my home address and Last Destinations keyed to the button presets. Putting the Nav features on the buttons is very functional for me. I find Route Information is my preferred nav screen, especially with the split screen setup. It's buried a bit in the iDrive menu. I'll have to check if route information is available as a voice command.

I am still working my way through all the functions of the system.

This is what I have set, so far:

1: NAV direction view
2: NAV perspective view
3: Route information
4: FM News
5: FM Rock
6: unassigned
7: unassigned
8: Trip Info

I may set a button to route preferences to easily see the alternative routings - and another to interactive map.

I am usually running split screen with NAV and Entertainment
