My car is going into the shop on Thursday for a new suspension setup (HR springs/Koni/HR sways/TCKline RSMs). I also put my summer wheels on last weekend, because there is no sign of snow. Started driving around and I'm tramlining horribly, I knew I needed new tires but didn't realize they were this bad. Left rear is worn past the bars, left front has a lot of wear on the inside edge.
So monday I ordered some new PS2s from Gary, who told me 3 to 4 days...which put the tires at Bimmerhaus on thursday or friday. It would be a pain for the suspension to be done thursday and the car have to sit there waiting for the tires to do the alignment, but I crossed my fingers.
Here it is Wednesday morning and tracking shows that the tires were delivered, less than 48 hours after I ordered them. Woot! New suspension and tires before the AutoX on saturday!
Score one for the good guys at TR and UPS.
