I live out in California and wanted to know, are the stock ZHP tires good for use all year?
Where I live, the temperature rarely dips below freezing at night and never snows. Average lows range from 39 in the winter to 55 in the summer.
Thanks.

The short answer is you'll be fine in the rain, and don't need winter tires where you live.
The ZHP comes with either Bridgestone Potenza RE040 or Michelin Pilot Sport, both summer performance tires.
I've had Continental ContiSportContacts, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S, and regular Pilot Sports on my 330i SP. They all had fine wet weather traction. In theory the Pilot Sport A/S has better wet traction than the regular Pilot Sport, but if anything the regular Pilot Sport seemed better in wet traction, at least to me.

My Pilot Sport's are very good in the wet. I have zero qualms about driving them year-round. Just NO snow.
