Certain members contrubute NOTHING to the forum, yet they are allowed to continue. After a certain point, you have to decide whether you want to create an environment in which open advocates of hatred are welcomed.

Why on Earth can't we AT LEAST ban people here when they get banned on fanatics?

I haven't noticed any trouble today, and I've been watching out for it.

Who here deserves banishment?

EDIT: There are a couple of members who I agree are "borderline".
What makes the 'Fest unique is tolerance. The real problems tend to move
on rather quickly.

The same person I mentioned privately some time ago.

The same person I mentioned privately some time ago.
I believe that I recall the subject of our conversation, and that person is as close
to being banned as he can be. If he steps over the line, you have my word that
I will get rid of him - permanently.

Nick, please realize that I have the best interests of the community at large
in mind when deliberating how to handle problems. Many times in the past I have
witnessed the creation of even bigger problems through the application of a
"heavy hand" (on other boards). I want this site to be different. Out of a
population of 11,000 there are only less than a handful of problematic
members here. The 'ignore lists' are capable filters for these kinds of numbers....
