As a Bangle hater (and even hate may not be a strong enough word...) I have to say...

I still hate the rocker treatment, but if they make something that looks like that, that's darn cool. It'll be even better if they stick a N/A 4-banger like the original M3 into it. :)

I think the roof might look strange in person, since this is a fairly small car - it might need a bigger cabin than this picture would have. But I think it shows that a 2 series will look good at least from the side.

Something funny about that sedan p-shop - I think the greenhouse is too small, like for midgets - although the profile looks great, I think the top will have to be bigger in order to fit tall drivers, and then maybe it won't look as good. The height from the door top to the roof is too small I think.

I agree, it does seem that way, but I kept the roofline from the a pillar to just behind the b pillar the same height as the 5 door the photo was based on. :dunno: It'll be interesting to see how the real one turns out.

Oh really? Mabye it's the big rims then that make it look small. I think it looks great, in 2 or 4 door form! Damn, I'd buy one today if we could, bastards!

Nice try. Now add a Bangle butt a-la 6 Series and you're hired in Munich.

Can you provide me with a Touring please? It may be my next car.

The good news is that the 3.0 Turbo should be the M2 engine, its good for 300Hp stock , and when the chips and bigger turbos come out from AA/Dinan etc.. you will have a monster on your hands figure 400Hp easy and about 600lbs less weight to haul than a V-8 M4

There won't be an M4. BMW isn't going to drop over 20 years of M3 history. The 3 series is a recognized brand, the 4 would be starting over. Not gonna happen...

what confirmation do you have that there will be a turbo version of the new 3.0ltr.?
