Any one has idea about coating on BMW? My car is getting hairline scratch because of dust one guy told me for some Teflon coating. I don't know about this, my car has white color.

Ideally, if you live in a high-dust environment, or any type of environment that is exceptionally hard on cars, a good paint sealant is a good investment. After you have the sealant on there, you will have a good strong coat that will protect for about 4-6 months. You can also add a coat of carnauba wax, or just go with carnauba wax instead as an alternative for protection. When I was a detailer, the main reason I saw for people getting paint damage is from inadequate paint care- improper washing/cleaning, using the wrong chemicals, not waxing, etc.
