size 255/40/17 coming in? The site shows it as backordered. Is there a date or is it open ended? The Promo offer expires on 4/10.

Unfortunately these are so far backordered that Goodyear is offering no ETA at all, which normally means at least 2+ months from them. Another downside to this is that Goodyear is extremely strict about their promotional offers and won't honor any purchase not made by (shipped by) the expiration date, which of course means the current promotion would be unavailable to you on this size/model Goodyear.
