Anyone work with this guy? When I signed for my GT the dealer finance lady wanted $6,100 for the extended warranty. I bought the extended maintenance for half off the $2,750 price they quoted. I didn't try to negotiate the warrantee.

I'm having second thoughts about it and think I want to buy up to 6 years and 100,000 miles. I have not called the dealer back yet to see if the price has changed (I will). Any other advice out there for the extension? What's a decent price for it on my 2012 535i GT?

TIA

Interested in the BMW extended warranty, what is the advantage of getting it now on my 2012 GT instead of waiting till 3-6 months prior of the factory warranty running out?

AFAIK the only advantage is locking in the price. I imagine it will go up over the next four years. But will it go up more than the time value of the money? Who knows. Also, can they adjust the pricing based on your service history? If they can predict failures based on information in your service logs, they might jack the price.

That is all guessing on my part. I don't have any experience with BMW warranties yet.
