For Canadian users, how exactly do you display your current speed in MPH?

Went to the States last weekend and was never able to figure it out.

iDrive system can change the average fuel consumption as long as odometer from km to miles but I never figured out to display current speed in imperial...

your speed MPH X 1.6 = KM
your speed KM / 1.6 = MPH

your speed MPH X 1.6 = KM
your speed KM / 1.6 = MPH

lol thanks for the info.

But try doing that in real-time in traffic or on the highway...

btw do cars in the UK come with kph or mph by default now?

UK cars are calibrated in MPH. For continental driving ease I always use my Tom Tom calibrated in KM.
In pre Tom Tom days I rembered the rule of 8 to 5; i.e. 80 Km = 50 MPH, 50 Km = 30 MPH, etc.
A little rough may be, but in 40 years of UK and continental driving I not received a speeding ticket when it was necessary to carry out a mental conversion!

Or you could be like me and just memorise the conversion.......

There isn't a way to change the cruise control speed (if that's what you're talking about) to mph except through coding the car itself to work in Miles for the units of measure. And by coding I mean the same process folks have been using to delete the front amber blinkers as parking lights, delete the iDrive disclaimer screen, etc.....

Just boggles my mind.

All Canadian cars I've driven in my life including rentals, friends, my own have always had mph displayed in smaller characters or digitally...
