Ron,
I am glad your curious enough to take your car apart. Lord knows I want to know what all this stuff looks like, but I just dont have time for exploration...

Inspection 1. Doing it a little early (23,712 miles) because I'm going to the dealer for the coil bulletin, software etc. Didn't want them torquing them hot.

Thanks. I'd seen the coil issue discussed, but can't seem to find a copy of the SIB.
I'm especially interested in what the key symptoms outlined in the bulletin are. Is it just missing or hesitation on start? Or does it also always involve a EML or other warning light?

I'm told that the Bremi now cedes to the Bosch 12 13 1 712 219.

Is there a resource (e.g., web-site) that I can go to that lists the bulletins for the M Coupe? If not, besides the coil bulletin, have any other significant bulletins been issued?
