I am trying to figure this one out. I have driven two different GT's, my European Delivery one and then another loaner while repairs are made to the ED car.

I noticed when I drove the original car in Europe, that the part of the driver's side door window, the area closest to the side-view mirror, has an effect that seems as if the glass is rippled or wavy in some way. Its easiest to see when moving your head while looking at an object through the glass.

I assumed it was just a random and minor defect (like orange-peel paint) but when the other car I drove had the same issue, I now have to assume its some intentional design feature, but I can't figure out the purpose of it. I don't see the same effect on the passenger side window or even the entire driver's side window.

Anyone know what this is for?
