Nope. :D I'll skip the manual transmission comment since I did that in another post ;)

I prefer the handling characteristics of RWD to FWD. Even though my 330 is AWD, it is biased to the rear. I drove a 330i as well as the xi and could not discern the difference. I do like having AWD as I live on the side of a hill in New England and also try to spend a fair amount of time up in the mountains in the winter.

I looked at the Acura TL when I was test-driving cars and didn't like the feel of the FWD. It was very, very good compared to some FWD cars but I could still feel it.

At one time I had a Volvo XC70; its AWD is biased to the front wheels. I never liked the handling of the car, it always felt like it was plowing in the corners. Even the previous generation V70 I had (which was purely FWD) had a better feel in the corners.

Heh, apparently my humor does not come across easily on the Internet.

Thankfully my wife was able to convince me to go the step route. Thank goodness!

I'll be even happier tomorrow once I pick the car up from the dealership with a brand spanking new transmission!! Woohoo!!
