On my 2003 X5 I switch everything off (because of battery drain) before I park the car for any length of time, I switch of the blowers manually too but when I start the suv again the blowers are on at the lowest setting all the time?
Someone asked if the blowers are on/off in the aux settings but they are off in the aux settings also!
Help...Does anyone know why the blowers are starting with the ignition?
I have replaced the Final Stage Unit/resistor, blowers are working fine apart from starting with the ignition!
EDIT:
I seen a post by Elvis5301 on the 5series stating:
"There's a fuse that controls the blower motor, but it's in a godawful difficult place to get at. The fuse is in a little two-fuse box up behind the glove box"
Is it the same as above with the X5 E53 regarding "The fuse is in a little two-fuse box up behind the glove box" ??
my other blower fuses in the glove compartment fusebox are ok!
