I just got word that a photographer and writer for both magazines will be at the event on Saturday to cover it

That makes 3 magazines in the UK that are making sure the event is covered :D

I hear your pain Keith, and I'm sure after the event I will write an e-mail to the editor of the Roundel magazine and ask "Why no coverage of Bimmerfest?".

At least the BMWCCA-LA Chapter did put it on the calendar, though it conflicts with a sanctioned CCA LA chapter event.

it conflicting with an event could very well explain the lack of coverage

While a good thought it is not true. We informed the Roundel of the event just like all the other media. A Roundel editor replied asking for specifics on why bimmerfest would interest Roundel readers (Oh I don't know, a HUGE bmw event, no real reason). We replied with a long list of reason to which we never received a reply.

Do you know what that event is? I'll tell you....it's the 11th Annual Santa Ynez Wine Tour. It's a limited event to 30-60 people. That's it. There's no coverage needed for that. In fact on the main page they say if you can't make it then there's Bimmerfest. Here's the URL

BMWCCA - Los Angeles Chapter (http://www.bmwclubla.org)

At least the LA Chapter is going to have a presence at the event this year and they are going to have coverage for the local chapter.
