Looks like it is sitting at a delivery center...

Interlagos paint. Looks like ///M6 on the rear and definitely quad exhaust.

Hmm...

Unique blue color, unique wheels, shadowline trim... all very nice!

Could be. AutoSpies is generally pretty unreliable, though.

I'm not sure how this could be unreliable, other than being photo-shopped. Front hood area looks a bit suspicious. If this is the VDC in Oxnard, CA, then it could be there for some practice for BMW technicians at their training center.

The old body looks way better.

Can't wait for the M6 and /or its GranCoupe variant to break cover.

An M6 Gran Coupe would be pretty sweet.

It's interesting to me that the new M6 hasn't yet been officially announced and here's a third-party source saying "here it is", appearing as if it's about to be shipped/delivered. I wonder, could this particular 6 be just an individual build? If it is an M6, I'm not that impressed by this picture.

Hope those chromed wheels don't catch on...

Autospies is usually way ahead. I believe this is an M6. They are set to be released this Spring, so they are certainly about to go into production. This fits what the car will look like. The only big exterior differences on the last M6 and 650 were lower trim, bumpers, hood, wheels, and of course engine. M6 logo is on back. Wheels look right. Just not feeling the whole intake thing on the side, but who knows. It may look perfect.

Going out on the limb here, but it looks photoshopped. Rear reflectors appear too close to the rear taillights, which have their own reflectors. The level of placement is just too high to my eye. But I could be dead wrong....

On second thought, the effect of the telephoto lens could be making these appear closer together than they actually are. So we could be looking at the real thing. If it is, I'll echo the sentiment to say that I'm not loving it just yet, will have to wait to see it in person.

Don't those wheels seem small for an M? The profile on my 20's is half that...

Those are the proper level with the M body kit. I have them on my 650.

...Is the Convertible the F12 and the Coupe the F13? Or the other way around?

Normally it's Coupe/Convertible+1, but BMW released the Convertible first... so I donno.

Based on everything I've been able to find - including doing a search for "F12" on the BMWUSA website - it's backwards in the title of the thread (and the forum itself by the way:confused:). The F12 is the convertible...

Yea that's what I thought... The vert DID come out first, so, I guess it makes sense. Just seems opposite of what BMW has been doing for a while now...

I am surprised to see that the M6 and M5 has the same wheels.....well, so the M sport on the 5 series and 6 series as well, but comeon this is an M ......

Reminds me of a Mustang in that particular pic somehow. Being a Mustang enthusiast (ex, at least), it's actually not a bad thing.
