Let's talk it through here ahead of time so that we can get over there in a smooth, organized manner Saturday morning.
I know there will quite a few people that want to cluster together parking at the event. We need to discuss some simple logistics for the AM -- breakfast, departure time, final quick detailing etc.
Suggestion to get things started:
Event starts at 9AM. Those who want to "good" parking spots near the action probably should arrive no later than 8AM. So...
Breakfast at 6:45AM across the street at IHOP. departure from Ramada at 7:45AM SHARP, to head over to the fair grounds. Any final detailing needs to be done before we leave at 7:45, or after arrival and parking at the event (I ususally QD my wheels after getting there).
Of course, we can certainly arrange more than one group exodus -- early riser maniac enthusiasts, later don't-care-as-much maniac enthusiasts.
Please add your wisdom...

When we say that the event starts at 9:00am, we are planning to start letting people in at 9:00am. I know that in the past Cutter was sort of over run with people and people may have been let in a lot sooner but we need to have everything set up for parking and vendors which could take a couple hours in the morning. If at all possible, we do ask that people not show up that early.

Agreed. The SD, OC, and LA area caravan will be arriving about 9:15 hopefully.

If this is going to be a problem from the standpoint of obstructing traffic or anything, let's get the word out now and discourage it as much as possible.
If it doesn't really present any significant issue, I don't see a problem any more serious than people lining up for movie tickets ahead of time.
We need to flesh out the issue here, so people can do the right thing. Frankly, I'd prefer to relax the schedule I outlined above by an hour :)

The Ramada offers a complimentary breakfast with bagels/waffles/bread/cereal/fruit/etc. - I'd just go for that rather than messing with IHOP on Saturday. Other than that, it sounds good to me.
We get get greased up at IHOP for the return caravan on Sunday.

We certainly are not going to do anything that is going to cause any traffic problems. The best idea I can think of is to try and show up as close to 9:00 as possible and there hopefully won't be a traffic problem. The worst case scenario is that we open a bit sooner to alleviate any traffic but we hope to avoid that.
