Official LA Caravan Information

:) This is just to help people get the information at a glance because the other thread has grown so large :)


LA Caravan:
Location: Balboa Park
Address: 6000 Balboa Blvd Encino, CA 91316
Time: Meet at 7:30-7:45am, Leave by 8:00am, Arrive @ BimmerFest ~about 9:18am~

As you get off the freeway you want to head North on Balboa Blvd you will see the parking lot on the left hand side. I will try and be there earlier then everyone park where people might be able to see my car. It is a Estoril Blue e36 M3. I will be going to the location on Friday(4/30) to gather more detailed information.

We will be meeting up with the OC and SD Caravan at the location and then heading to the Fest.

BRING RADIOS! (they are nice to have to stay in contact, not required to drive with the Caravan. They can also be used during the Road Rally)

Tell every BMW enthusiast you know in the LA area about this caravan, the job of this thread is to make them AWARE of it!

I will trying to inform people about this caravan and with the help of e30cabrio (and friends) to have the OC Caravan with the SD people, meet us at this location as happened last year.

You may choose to list you name and other information here, let let us know you will be at the meeting spot. Also feel free to just show up it is completely free to join the caravans.....
Also othe caravan along the way that the Caravan will be passing you can leave you contact info and we can alert other coordinators know when the caravan will be coming close to their area.

Striaght to SB, once the OC and SD people are at the LA caravan location we will be heading straight to The fest. The Caravan at this point will be very large and hard to exit anywhere so I think that why it has been kept that we will be going straight to the fest

I don't think one has been picked up yet but I am sure it will be posted becuase it might be best to be on the same one the SD and OC people are on so we can just dial it in rather then having them change all their radios. Once I heard what it is I will be sure and update this thread with it :thumbup:

Sounds good I think one caravan can work out the radio stuff then the following one pick up on the channels they already have had their radios set to :thumbup:

I can then make a list and make sure that everyone who says they will be there is there and that we aren't missing anyone.

It is possible to get someone's in the IE caravan Cell phone #? I have Jon's number who will be leading the OC and SD to the LA caravan location so I am in contact with him as far as where they are in relation to arrival.
If I could get your or the leader of the IE caravan's Cell # that way we are not wondering if you guys have arrived already or if we still need to wait for you. My name is Jon too (hehe) but yea if you or whoever is sort of leading the IE can PM me with their # and a bit of an introduction trade numbers and what not then we can make sure you guys get in before we take off :thumbup:
