Reason is because i'm having a hard time finding the front license plate moulding piece for the E36 M3. I figure zipties would work, but i don't want to have the license plate fly off on the highway or something.
anyway, just want to see what the general consensus is.
See you all there.

Neil, zip ties done right (sorta hard to mess them up) will hhold a plate in place if you have them in a secure set of holes. As long as you don't have anythign ELSE wrong with the car, I don't see you getting pulled over for JUST no front plate, esp after the uproar from the Norcal vs Socal event. And it keeps you from drilling holes in your bumper!

I had holes my front bumper but on the e36 M3 you can buy a replacement one that has not been drilled for like 15 bucks. I'm talking about the black plastic part. I'm going to be running no front plate but a non drilled front bummer looks a lot less attractive for a pull over....and like uberpanzer said I don't think you'll have to worry about this issue.

I'm running no front plate.
I'm bringing front plates just in case and I'm gonna put it at the driver's side front windshield on the dash.

Just so you guys know, putting it on the dash IS still illegal.
I know 2 friends who have gotten tickets for this.
