Hi,

Just leased the 650i xdrive vert. But question on the carpet floor mats? my e64 mats had the BMW logo but my new f12 has just plain black carpet with no logo? Was wondering if they put some non oem carpet. Can you guys with the vert tell me if your carpets have bmw written on the carpet or are they just plain. Thanks

My 2012 650 roadster has the cinn / brown interior and it came with plain black carpets without a logo. My 2009 650 vert had a beige interior and that had plain beige carpets with no logo. I purchased the BMW logo carpets for the 2009 as I thought it looked better.

Some of my cars had "BMW" on them, but most were just plain mats.

Look in a copy of the model book for your model and year (sales material) where you should be able to see the accessories offered and what they look like. I am talking about the slick magazine that sales associates hand out to prospective buyers.

These are the type I bought recently from my local dealer for my E66 750. These are OEM for my model year.

Thank you everyone. Mine has no logo and my previous had the logo so I guess the plain black with no logo is still oem. Thanks. It just seems that they are trying to save money here and there. New F12 wind deflector with no case for example. Makes no sense. Anyways thanks again.

Absolutely amazing where companies today will shave a dollar off. I mean cheap mats on a $80 - 100K car, really?

They have to recoup the cost of 6er soft-close trunk R&D somewhere ;)

Good one. But I would think the recent price increase would have taken care if that........

I am actually really happy mine didn't come with the logo. There are enough bmw logos on the car.

Now that's what I like about this forum - difference of opinion on every subject.
Me, I have paid for custom logo floor mats in the past & really like them. I don't think there's any doubt the plain ones are less expensive, BMW can source them from anywhere.

It might just be my interior colors that make me feel the logo wouldn't look good. I feel like it looks a little more modern without it.

I like WeatherTech Digital Floorliners for protecting my carpets. They recently were made available for xDrive 650i's. I ordered a set for f & r a month or so ago. Total cost was approx. $150. Have a hard time keeping carpet clean due to unpredictable weather where I live.
