I know this has been said a thousand times elsewhere on the board but I thought it would be a good idea to post it as a thread here.
Ee all know it only takes one guy in his car to do a burnout at a stoplight or to be doing some other stupid thing to give all of us a bad name. I understand that people enjoy driving "spiritedly" and I am guilty of the same  but for this particular event we should try and show the police and citizens of SB that we're just there to have a good time without being stupid.
So in a general sense, just take it easy on the freeway and in the city, we don't need anyone getting hurt or worse and we certainly don't want any negative publicity.
Thanks,
Kyle

Makes me glad I'll be in a slow @ss e21 beater rather than my e30 M3. I've been guilty of blowing the doors off of other cars on the drive, as well as other people on the road the last three years. At least this year I can't be blammed for that stuff.....

:stupid:
I'll be on the east coast, unable to attend bimmerfest. Can I still drive like an idiot? :eeps:
I agree with the original poster though. There's a time and a place... and bimmerfest isn't it.
Yes, you can go drive like an idiot on the Pulaski Skyway.

Flying back home early Firday to bring my car out detail it and work some of my spirited driving then eheh:thumbup:
EDIT: You know actually I really have tended to "flex the muscles" a lot less since I got then ///M3 after selling my 3er. I have a feeling of not really having to proven anything like when you see that 911 turbo just going speed limit you just know hehe. Also I feel a sense of people backing down too.
Not that I was crazy with the 3 by any means :eeps:

Wishful thinking to think that some how because there is an organized event people will miraculously become better drivers. Some people just can't drive, why would this weekend be any different for the "farhrer challenged."
That would be like saying, just because I am going to a bar with friends I'll all of sudden have a higher alcohol tolerance.
Now watch, I just jinxed myself and I'll be the one with my car stuffed under a gaurd rail.

the worst part is that it is usually us 16 year olds that are to blame. And I understand why too...
just letting everyone know that I've got nothing to prove :)
