Has anyone installed the AC Schnitzer rear spoiler? I was wondering first if it's a DIY job, and whether it comes painted in whatever color your car is, or whether it needs to be painted and installed professionally (drilling required?). I looked at a few body kits out there for the F07, and for the rear spoiler I think the AC Schnitzer one follows the cars' lines most and really complements the cars' looks. For me, it improves on the only potential downside the F07 has, the rear.

i agree looks great.. i want to see if the M sport pkg improves on this in person.. my car won't be here for another 5-6 weeks or at least i hope.. in dark colors (carbon blk for me) i think the back looks much better...but the ACS spoiler really looks great..
please post a follow up once you have more info

Does anybody here have a rear spoiler installed (AC Schnitzer or others)? I would really appreciate some pictures if you have it on your car. I'm considering it, and would like some first hand impressions.

Does the look of the upper back side of the trunk bother anybody enough to add a spoiler - would it give it a sportier look - or just cheapen it up?

I've had spoilers on some of my vehicles...I'd be more interested to know if it has any effect on mpg at typical (US) driving speeds. Often, they can increase downforce, but it may be insignificant at any legal speed here, but an mpg and visual impact may be worthwhile if real.

I was looking more at the esthetics angle, but an increase in mpg and having the car stick to the road even more would also be welcomed side-effects.
