What percentage of power do you lose at elevation?

In other words, when the air is thinner at 5000 or 7000 feet, what percentage of power do you lose.

We took a trip this past week and our truck (Tacoma V6) was a dog going up some of the hills. Once we hit sea level again it felt great! So I started to think about things you could do to help compensate for the loss of power. Would any of the following help? K&N? CAI? Cat-back exhaust? Headers and cat-back? Super charger?

Anyone have any ideas, other than the obvious, V8, V10!

Only the supercharger is really going to make much of a difference at altitude. Nice thing is that the TRD supercharger kit for the Tacoma is smog legal.

Roughly a 3% drop in horsepower per 1,000 foot increase.
