Confused driver 'parks' car in Paris metro station
(http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-17829438)

A confused driver has ended up trapping his car on the steps of a Paris metro station, after mistaking it for the entrance to an underground car park.

"There's a sign saying 'Haussmann Parking' right in front... I made a mistake," ...

A member of staff at a local restaurant was quoted by AFP as saying that a similar incident took place at the site about five years ago.

Didn't he notice the sign? (Center top of photo)

That is the international sign for "If you drive here, you will need a tow truck come get you out."

Actually, this was a typical route in a video game I played years ago.

Playing devil's advocate, the steps do look similar to the parking ramps that are often at subway stations.
