How to change microfilter

I am new to the forum, how do I change microfilter on my 2000 528? Is it ewasy?

I have a 99 528i and i dont think anything has changed with the microfilters untill if you have an 2004 model. so between 97 and 2003 the microfilters are easy to change they are located under the hood you have two, one on each side, left rear side under hood and right rear side under hood, look like blacks boxes, you should find them very easy all you have to do is pop the little steel tube forward and the top opens up and change the filter. TIme to change mine too.

Oil filters? Why, do you change the oil yourself? or do you just change the oil filter without changing the oil.
