I've seen the 1er in the flesh!

I think the 1er will be a smash in europe. I saw it at work, as I work for *M*. The back seats look alittle tight for adults though and the boot (trunk) aint that big either! But hey, what's the boot on the 3er like anyway! It definatley looks better in the flesh than it does on the photo's, honestly. To open the tailgate you press the roundel which is a bit different to a key. For a small car it looks big on the outside but i think thats more for crash protection. If the 'other' pics of the 1er are 'true' I think BMW have a new money earner on thier hands! As the rumors are it aint going to the US, with 'these' others you could possibly see it, who knows?

As much as would like to get more photo's, i can't! Sorry. I believe that there will be public viewings around the world in June or/and July before it's genral relaese in the autumn. I'm getting one as soon as they come on the car scheme at work! :thumbup:
