View Full Version : Clutch Delay Valve in 2002 (Final Verdict)

It doesn't exist. We checked the ETK (showed it) and the service manual (didn't show it). After jacking up the car, we found out it wasn't there.

I'm going to check my xi in a couple weeks. I'll give the verdict for that drivetrain soon. (And I'll take lots of pictures, unlike everyoine else. :p)

In Search of the Mythical CDV

Jacking up the car was interesting. Talk about body stiffness! Jack up one quarter of the car and the whole side goes up. This is JT - '02 330i's car.

Next it was a matter of tracking down the correct hoses and finding the elusive Clutch Delay Valve. As you can see, the mythical valve is not shown:

Im not sure how thorough you were, but on the ETK, the diagram shows it, but when you click on it, it says the part is not installed in the car.

Good..one less thing I have to do to it..:thumb:
