Wadup OG's, JUST MADE THE BEST PURCHASE OF MA LIFE ~

I got a 02 745i w/ 167,000 miles on the dash for only $9,500.
This thing is fully loaded and drives amazingly...

Cant wait to take it on the freeway :rofl::p

I dont know weather to say Congratulations or send you my deepest Condolences:dunno:. I hope you did your research on these cars especially that year. With them kind of miles you can end up in $9500.00 worth of repairs just in valve stem seals an the infamous weep hole. But anyway Good Luck an if a problem shall arise there is a ton of informative information on this forum.

Congratulations, I too own a 745 on an 02 plate, been pretty troublesome to date but repaired everything myself so far. I love the car but the reliability against practicality is questionable considering it my only car. If your a keen DIY'er you will have plenty of fun, if not expect expensive repair bills! E65/66 are cheap in the UK due to fuel costs and tax, the 7 was much cheaper than a much lower spec 5 series. However the 7 is a great car, very comfortable and plenty of power, have fun and enjoy it!

May not be that bad. Even if he drives a year or 2 without issues he won the gamble. Folks buying almost new cars are guaranteed to lose $9000 in depreciation in first year.

LOL. Yes indeed. As the prices of our 7's drop, so will the level of education and grammar.

Hope you saved some of your allowance for repairs Krazer. You're going to need it! :-)

Those wheels are horrible! Search on this forum and you will see some nice wheels. Decent wheels will cost you minimum 3k with tires. You just got your car. Enjoy it stock first and save your money for repairs.

Those rims will make your car look cheap, imo. Is that what you want? If so... It's your ride to do as you please. :thumbdwn:

I must to agree, the car drives amazingly***8230; but, I hope, you have big packets of cash and a second car to drive, when 745 is sitting on lift and a mechanic is trying to figure out, how to make it drivable at least for another month. Unless, the previous owner put already at least $ 20k... Believe me, I experienced it for eight years.

Not necessarily a joke***8230; I have seen in NYC, mostly on customized auto shows, so weird things, you will not see it even on YouTube***8230; Some, mostly very young owners, do not care anymore about classic style. Yellow cab on wheels so big, that passenger has to climb on ladder, to get in, spinning wheel hubs with LEDs, HIDs everywhere, Rolls Royce emblem on the hood of Escalade***8230; Anyway, if it is a joke, you expressed your opinion and the guy has a fun. Let him enjoy his time
