I change mine annually.
Some people never change brake fluid, some people change every year, remaining folks change in between :-)
Suggested interval is 2 years... it also depends on whether the brake system is opened. Brake fluid is in a closed-system. So, ideally, it shouldn't absorb moisture... unless the system is opened for any repairs.

Change it. It absorbs water slowly, reducing your braking ability.

2 years. If you flush the system yourself be very careful not to allow air into the system.
2 years per BMW, irregardless of mileage. Should be covered by the BMW maintenance plan. If not, take it to shop that can activate the ABS/DTC pump pistons by diagnostic equipment to push old fluid out.
