=====> Brake system weird sounds.. HELP!

Ok guys,
I now I have a problem with a brake system.. When I press the brake pedal very softly the brakes start squeaking.. like a whistling sound.. Funny thing it happens when I don't drive fast (like 20mph) and when I press it firmly... Its good when on a highway.. It's also good for about 15 hours after I take the car to a carwash... I was thinking brake pads, but they are pretty much brand new (6 months old)... Any suggestions?


PS. This is 2006 BMW 530xi with 80k miles

My brakes always squeak at low speeds when in parking lot. Have it checked by the dealer and all is ok. I think its normal.

mine does the same thing, brand new pads and rotors in the front, but the noise is coming only from the front right :dunno: i think its something to do with breaking them in but i just deal with it, car stops good overall.
