Staggered wheels with square tires - any issues?

I have my eyes on a used staggered set of style 124 xi fitment wheels: F: 8x18 ET43 and R: 9x18 ET55 . This came stock on 535xi cars and E61 euro models AFAIK.
I 'd like to make it my winter set and install 4 tires of the same size : say 245x45x18 to allow for tire rotation.
I cleared this with tirerack: the 245 wide tire can be installed on a rim 8 - 9.5" wide.
The rears may look a little wider as a result per tirerack.

Now, what I am looking to answer is whether my front wheel well will clear 9" wide rear wheel when I rotate them.
Has anybody run 9" wide rim/tire on the front?
Or any other issues (cosmetic or not) that can possibly arise from this setup?

Get a set of aftermarket rims instead. Don't mess around with wrong tire and rim sizes and stick wider rims up front. It's nonsense. You can get a full new set of 245/40/18s for under $500 and call it a day.

Yes, I hear you, the set of square wheels from China on tirerack start as low as $500.
I just can't seem to find the right style there, hence looking at BMW wheels (I guess I am an OEM type of guy) :confused:
Also, I have a bit of a concern with wheels made in China vs OEM wheels, which AFAIK are made in Germany. :dunno:

staggered winter setup is not reccomended..i do it but my car dose not see winter..

The rear 9 inch wheels seem like it should clear if placed on the front but it might look a little odd having wider wheels in the front.
