HELP - Placing Picture Next to Username

in general, yes.

there have been exceptions made over the years for folks whose contributions have been especially helpful and/or insightful

The general rule is 1,000 posts. There are occasional periods when they are given to all that ask and sometimes excpetions are made for reasons already described (or if a very, very cool image is going to be used.

So the image has to be very, very cool to be considered??? "Cool" as in a picture of a car going 126mph past one of those electronic, road-side radar detectors with the screen showing the 126mph speed? Would that be "cool" enough?

Perhaps. You know the saying "A picture is worht a 1,000 words," right? It would be a lot easier to say with certainty if you posted the image here. Strange things have been known to happen. ;)
