This is the rear window control, what does the upper right button do that toggles left to right? Cheecked the manual couldn't find anything. Thanks I know my wife will ask sooner or later.

It selects which door sun blind you want to control, I you switch it to the right it the buttons will control the blinds on the other door, it's a great feature! I'm never in the back to use it though! Ha ha

I have the same switch on my 745i, but it only locks the passenger side mirror from normal, to "curb mode" when I put it in reverse. I also have more buttons on my driver side...

That switch controls the shades, left or right...good for the ones in the back seat, you can also roll down or up ALL the shades in the back from the front by pressing down for 2 seconds the front driver shade control.

The rear shades can be control by the front controls by the driver door, you can either lock them for people in the back so they can not use them (if you have playful kids) or you can open all window shades at the same time or you can roll up or down the rear shade.

The lock button also stops the kids from playing with the rear electric seats. Thankfully!
