Hi everyone - I have a 2008 LCI 535xi; no sport package - I'm sticking to the standard 18" wheels for now.

I am looking to change my tires (still have the run-flats on, ugh...) and have been doing a lot of reading here and other forums. I went to a couple of tire shops and have basically narrowed it down to the following three tires:

1. Continental ExtremeContact DWS (Ultra High Performance All-Season) - 245/40ZR18 in the front and 275/35ZR18 in the rear. ($846 not including installation) <-- I can get a further 10% discount on these through my friend who works in Continental

2. Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus (Ultra High Performance All-Season) - 245/40ZR18 in the front and 275/35ZR18 in the rear. ($1,014 not including installation).

3. Michelin Primacy MXM4 (Grand Touring All-Season) - 225/50R17 both front and rear. ($820 not including installation)

**Would those of you who've used any of these tires please tell me about your experience with them?

**Also, what would be the advantage (or disadvantage) going with the Primacy's (4 matching tires) vs one of the other two (different sized front and rear tires)?

Thanks in advance for your insight and advice!

Cheers.

I can only comment on the Michel Pilot Sport A/S Plus and if you look here (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=628112&highlight=), you can see my thread about the tires I recently had installed.

I love them and have no regrets having installed them and having driven on them for about 2 weeks. I would not change if I could. If you read the thread (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=628112&highlight=), you'll see that most everyone agrees they're one of the best tires out there.
