Open the rear passenger door. Stick your head inside the car. Train your eyes on the rear panel of the center divider between the two front seats. There should be a pair of vents. Now look below those.
Another place to look is in your glove box to the left side.
You might be best off to go to a dealership and ask them to point out where your Aux port is, if there is one.

You have a 2005, they didn't come with usb or an aux jack. You have to get an aux jack installed, and then reprogram the idrive, you can get a ipod retrofit kit to replace the cd changer, or you can upgrade your entire CCC system with the 2008 5's CIC that comes with usb and aux port attatched. The cheapest option is the first one.

You need to call up your BMW dealership and ask them how much it will be to install an "AUX-IN" port in the glove compartment of your car. The kit costs about $60, and the installation labor and programming will be an additional $300-$600 depending on the dealership. This will give you a headphone style jack that allows you to connect an MP3 player or iPod or BT player into the iDrive.
You can also do this yourself by doing some research about the aux-in option and BMW programming.
