Any secrets to removing tire caps that become stuck on tires without
breaking the sensors

There are no sensors in the caps and also cheap to replace.

I know there are sensors in the cap but I was told the tip of the air nozzle will
break if you try to remove the cap when it becomes stuck and doesnt turn freely

What are you talking about? What kind of sensor do you think is in the cap? :dunno:

The sensor is not in the cap The chrome cap is stuck on the air nozzle. I tried to unscrew it and took it to a couple tire shops but they said if they can't remove the cap without breking the tip of the nozzle and having to replace the whole tip

OIC.

Maybe try heating it gently with a heat gun, but CAREFULLY. Don't want to bubble the clearcoat on the wheel, or damage the rubber tip. A little heat might cause the metal to expand slightly and release it's grip.

Just a thought.

Liquid wrench on the thread maybe with the valve stem at the top of wheel so it goes down into the thread.
