Is it possible to add the stock oem back up camera to a 2007 530i? Anyone out there done this? Thanks in advance.

No stock backup camera but if you go to modmynav there is a kit available.

Thanks Munich. For some reason I thought it came as an option. I guess its just the parking sensors.

I KNEW IT!
I couldn't believe the E60 had a backup camera as an option. After all these years of being a fester i would have known if such camera ever existed for the E60. :p:rofl:

At least in the US - not sure about foreign markets.

Just because it didn't come with one on an option list doesn't mean you cant install it.

I know there are aftermarket kits and according to some reviews they even integrate it perfectly in the iDrive but the E60 never had an OEM backup camera. :p

I'm not talking about aftermarket kits. There are OEM parts for the reverse camera.
