I'm out shopping for a 2010 535i. If I buy from a private party, what is the best, most complete extended warranty coverage I can buy to make up for not having CPO coverage?

if you can buy from the original owner - they have the option of a maintenance or warranty extension from BMW NA - you could have them purchase that, which I BELIEVE is fully transferable to the new owner (ie, it is the car that is covered, not the owner)... perhaps someone can confirm this though, just in case I am incorrect in this assumption about transfer of extended warranty.

Thanks, but I found BMW's in-house plan rather costly. Anything good out there from 3rd party providers?

I used AUL.

I'll check them out. Thanks.
Turns out that USAA uses Assurant as well.

I used AUL.

I used warranty direct for my last bummer and it was nicely priced, covered everything and paid quick on all claims.
