Get the first one (black), if only for the sport auto transmission option - you won't regret it! BTW - second vehicle is not 'xdrive' (regardless of what the seller indicates) as 550's were only RWD in this generation.

When hes finished making up extra features that don't exist seeing your there at the dealer id also suggest he get his caps lock button, space bar and comma's buttons fixed on his computer. ;)

Might be on this though according to Xdrive, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_xDrive

As previously mentioned, get the first one. Black/ Black 550i. I have had my first BMW 550i since May and I love the car. The "M" Sport package is remarkable. Its the Best vehicle I have ever owned ans it amazes me each time I get behind the wheel. We can discuss later things that I have done to the car(minimal) and detailing processes that are working great for me. Enjoy!!!:)

Looks Great. I contacted the closest BMW dealership and gave them the VIN. In turn, they printed out all the options and everything my car had installed form the factory. Have fun this week with the new baby!!

You need to get much closer pics of the dash and door panels for us to decipher your options, specifically the center dash, driver's door panel, and area to left of steering wheel near headlight controls...

Wow I had it for a week... I am so very happy with the car.. Can't stop driving it..
2010 550i
22000 miles
Every option except HUD
8 yr /100,000 warranty
Paid $40500.

I love it.. Now I don't think car need anything else.. But is there any mods or upgrade I should do?

07-22-2012, 10:38 PM
Congrats man!

There are quite a few mods depending on if your referring to performance or Idrive.

Remove charcoal filter
Rpi scoops
Some like the sprintbooster.. Ehh smh
K&n filter

Then there is the endless list of Dinan upgrades....
Stage software upgrades
Hiflow throttle body

Eventually you will search and find that the biggest perrmance gain comes from adding a supercharger but the cost is high.

Good luck on your quest.

You will find that BMW has expensive $/Horsepower upgrades. The Dinan Stage 1 ECU reflash is a good starting point. The forum consensus seems to be that RPI makes the best aftermarket exhaust for the price. Dinan also makes a High Flow Air Intake system that can add 15HP for $1,100.00 + install. The best thing you can do right now is make sure your tires are non RFT (run flat) and either purchase some Michelin Pilot Super Sports, Continential ExtremeContact DWS tires or Bridgestone 960AS.
