Getting stability control warning in just normal driving on my 2007 530i - stays on, then is gone again when next start.
Looking at big money??

Do your blinkers stay on also? I have this issue and is addressed with the links below. The dealership will want to replace your steering position sensor for about a grand. But it just needs cleaning. Check out the links. it may be what your problem is.

This link is the best it is for an E63 which is a 6 series but steering column and problem are the same

This one is for a 3 series but has good info about how to disassemble the steering wheel which are universal (Note I did not do the soldering part just cleaning)
