I'm looking to do my first brake job for my rear brake pads and maybe rotors. I'm convinced on the Hawk HPS Street brake pads to match with BMW stock rotor. My question is where/how to get the best prices on stock rotors?

http://www.autohausaz.com

No issues with this company, someone on here told me about them. Ordering is super easy and returning/exchanging them are super easy. Go with zimmerman.

I went with Zimmerman rotors w/ OEM pads (The bite is worth the dust to me)

I got mine at www.ECStuning.com, good company, good prices, and reasonable shipping.

Autohausaz is good too.

sorry, I'm pretty new to DIY. Does that mean the ATE rotors online will be identical to the ones used by BMW dealers? What's Zimmerman? Is it another BMW OEM supplier? The reason I am so particular about BMW stock rotor is because in the post below 645/333 seems to suggest they are better in quality.

OP, stay away from Hawk HPS pads, you won't get that bite that the OEM pads offers. I had Hawks on my previous car and these pads require heat to be optimal. In winter time they were down right scary. Like previously mentioned the OEM pads is worth the dust, especially when it saves you.
