I finally decide to refinish my wheel on my 550, I have the 172 style wheels, apparently by most the be the most beautiful on our BMWs ..
The wheels originally had a lot of paint discoloration and fade, over the years cleaning them, all the different chemicals, just puts wear and tear on them..
I dismounted the wheels/tires, and took my wheels to Unique Powder Coating about an hour away from wear I live.. I went with a color called Porsche Silver, it's a few shades darker than OEM...
I will post pics once finished. Cost of everything is roughly $600..
