OK, it only took one week to remove the CDV...now I'm about to order the Rogue clutch stop...I can't help it...and then, I'm thinking of an SSK. Or maybe just a Whalen knob if it is lower than the stock knob.

Or maybe I need to address the speed detection issue, which, BTW, I did not have with the Jetta TDI. So maybe the Passport. Maybe stealth install.

And of course, Zaino or Klasse, which is not a mod, but I digress...

And then, maybe a clear bra, clear corners, too, god...someone stop me.

For me, it's no fun to drop 10k on a car at once. I always control myself and take one step at a time. But you're right, when you first start doing it, you start wanting more. Perhaps you can set a budget each month for your car and try to follow it? The Rogue or UUC clutch stop is pretty beefy and useful, but you could always make your own. Don't know how much the Whalen knob costs, but the OEM matte chrome or aluminum knob is stubby and short as well. As far as radar detectors go, drive slower if you can't afford it for the time being (like you're going to listen)

There's no turning back.

If you're considering ClearBra, move it up the list. The true value is in doing it before you get your first rock chips...

I am spending $200 to have my spoiler and rock chips touched up in 2 weeks, car will sit for 1 week while on vacation, then 1 week later clear bra goes on. Lesson learned :( :banghead:

I wish I had installed one when I first bought my car. It is the only thing I regret not doing. My hood and front fenders look like crap if you get a close look

Definitely do the clutch stop, best $15 I spent of performance mods :D Be careful with getting a knob that is too heavy. I ran a borrowed knob (from a vendor that you will not see participating on my mod list  ) and was amazed on how top heavy shifting became. An OEM aluminum knob (like the one AndyM used to create my alcantara one) is near perfect weight to counter the SSK characteristics although it did not lower the knob heigth. Rogue has some that are close to ZHP shorty knob height and weigh ~ 8 oz. I went with LeatherZ b/c I also wanted lighting in my knob :smokin: I would also warn you against using any knob that requires a set pin to hold it in place :tsk:

Don't look for me to help stop you :stickpoke :amish: :neener: :angel2:

Got a link for the ClearBra? My 03 ZHP gets here next week, and my previous car had significant rock-chipping issues.

I know nothing about them... do you install yourself, get it installed, by whom, cost.... thoughts, anyone?
