Why not drive it and enjoy it as is for a while then worry about mods. Car is awesome stock so you may not want to add anything. .

I did this with mine for a few months to become properly acquainted. Car is fantastic is stock form.

Have since added a JB4, and mother of god does it make a difference. Next up is slight suspension drop.

Congrats on the ride. Very nice. Like everyone else said, get to know the car and enjoy it for a second... Otherwise you could go to a Indy shop and get some custom coding done to have the side mirror fold up when locking/unlocking, key fob eject and door unlock when you turn off the car...removing the charcoal filter if it has one, resetting the transmission to learn your driving pattern. Then look at other mods like rpi scoop...

Congrats on your purchase. Your idrive, screen and nav is much better in the 2010 model. Definitely enjoy it first and then think about mods.

I like the the mirror folding up and the transmission learning my driving, anyone know of shops in Miami or south Florida that can do this?

Nice. I'm waiting for my 20" f14's to be finished for my car. Hopefully only a couple of more weeks before my 535i gets some new shoes.

Real nice, yeah I can't wait to get the new shoes on her either. But in the meantime I have started saving some money for the computer and all that BOOOOST!!!

Def post pics when you get the wheels, what tire size and brand did you go with if you don't mind me asking.

I havent decided on tire sizes yet but either doin a 245-255 30 series up front and either a 285-295 30 series in back. It depends on how off i want my speedo to be. Ill post pics but i have another 3 weeks since they are now at the finishers.

30 series all around, I am confused now.. Haha most places recommend you do a 30 series in the front and 25 series in the rear...

Ya it usually says 30/25. However factory the rear is a little shorter then the front tires and my speedo is a little faster then actual speed. So I'm trying to get the tire heights the same but with 20's. Also running a 25 series tire is gutsy out in Cali with all the construction. I'd probably end up with a crack or bent rim.

I am in the same boat, I am worried about the 25 series tires in the rear, especially on HRE wheels, they aren't cheap to fix.

I wonder how much "bigger" it would look if I went with 30 series in the rear?

I am interested in learning where to go to get that program too (folding mirrors).

Is there a way to get the transmission to STOP putting my car in park when the door is open? That shyt is annoying. I have to park my car as close to the inside of my garage as possible and every time I open the door when backing up, I get jerked into park.

If my math is correct it is about 3/4-1" taller. From I have been seeing a lot of guys are running a 35/30 setup which is a little taller then factory if they kept the same tire width. The more I look I'm going to go with some falken fk-452, 245/35-20 front and 285/30-20 rear.

Quick question about your car, is that paint the Jet Black or the Black Sapphire Metallic?

it looks like the black sapphire metallic as I see sparkles in the paint. the jet black does not have any metallic in it...its just a shiny-ass black.

For coding mirrors and such, see http://www.bmwcoding.com/
I use NCS Expert and it is great. Lots of nice things to tweak.

Keep the door closed when backing up, open the window instead and stick your head out.
