Im thinking about purchasing a 06-08 Bmw 530i, Most of the the wheels that are already of the cars are 17" and i was wondering if i could put 18"or 19'' wheels on the car with out it rubbing or any other problems.
Edit: I just bought a 08 528i, will these wheels fit correctly?

'06 530xiT with factory sport package = 245-40-ZR18's. Tirerack.com says you can go to 245-35-19 on this car.

19" will not be a problem

What kind of wheels are you thinking about putting on it?

I have staggered 20's on my car. it's also lowered with eibach springs to m5 height. I get no rub but do have to creep over speed bumps

I think the largest BMW OEM rims were 18/275/35 so i see no problem at all with 19" or even 20" but IMO 20" seems a bit oversize for my taste. 19" is the perfect size for the E60.

I've got 20's on my 530. I think it's perfect.

21" inch can be done. My buddy has them on his M5. However, it required the fenders to be rolled. So your good with your 19" w/o any issues.
I'm doing 20" on mine.

20's are really the biggest you can go and maintain driveability and looks. I have seen 21's on the E60, they look ridiculous and stupid, mainly because your car ends up looking like a 4X4.
There was only one E60 with 21's that looked good, but that was an M5 that was widened significantly (he was running 355/25/21 rear tires)
