You could contact eBay here (http://pages.ebay.com/help/contact_inline/index.html). 'Fest members come across these kind of frauds and have been able to let the seller know we know what they are up to. The last one I remember was a US version BMW supposedly located in Portugal that would be FedEx on 3 day delivery to the buyer. If you do not get an appropriate response from eBay you may want to contact the seller directly and call her bluff.

I listed my Mercedes E300 on Cars.com and got two emails from buyers who claimed to represent other buyers. They would send me a check for 25,000 then I would return by cashiers check over night $14,000 ( I was asking 16K). Because the buyer had already cut a check for a car that fell through. Then, they would pick my car up within 24hrs. Meanwhile, the Cashiers check they gave me I am sure would bounce. Be careful selling your cars. Internet scamers are everywhere!! :typing: :violent:

Always use your own photo hosting. That way, you can change your autotrader ad, then change the photos the jackass is stealing to say something like "I am a scamming jackass." If there's no bid, go ahead and bid, since you get charged with the first bid on an eBay car sale.

Can't you just save any picture locally on your system regardless of who is hosting? And upload to eBay? :dunno:

Looks like someone got to that scammer:
"The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale. "

Yes, but this person didn't, giving you the opportunity to f*** with them. The URLs are all Autotrader.

Yeah but eBay should be notified so they ban this seller or get the real seller to change his password - whoever it is probably hijacked the original seller's name - and the real seller probably has no idea what is going on.

My guess is they hijacked someone else's user name on EBAY as well... It is the old Nigerian oil minister trick.. It is the greed factor that makes it work.
