<blockquote> This is a 2002 Black M Coupe, with the S54 engine. 20,100 miles,
all stock. I am the second owner- I bought it from BMW of Towson
in April of 2003, when it had ~10,000 miles.
The Engine Build Date is 12/01.

Features of this car are a tire pressure monitoring system,
seat warmers, sunroof, auto-dimming rearview mirror,
cargo cover, and a retractable cargo safety net, to protect the driver
& passenger from any items that might go airborne when the car is
driven enthusiastically. The car also has been Lo-Jacked, in case an
unauthorized person attempts to drive it enthusiastically. It's had
regular service, and the only two issues I experienced were a
sticking driver's side seatbelt, and an improperly secured ebrake
cable which was rattling. Both were fixed at the dealer.
The car has its original warranty through 50,000 miles, or
15 June 2006. Full maintenance through 36,000 miles, or
15 June 2005. Extended engine warranty through 100,000 miles
or 15 June 2008.

Interior is dark beige nappa leather, with tan ostrich insets
in the door and seats. The carpeting is also tan, but the floor
mats are black. There's some curb rash on the wheels- it came
that way, sorry.

I'm just out of room for cars; with the breakup of my marriage, I
have most of the cars while my ex has all of the parking
spaces. I can really only keep one vehicle garaged in the city,
and there's no question that it will be my 993 turbo. I do love
the coupe, but not quite as much as I do the Porsche.

It's not fair to the car to park it somewhere and only drive
it once a week or so.

$34,000, or best offer. Located in the DC Metro area. Happy to
accomodate pre-purchase inspections at a reputable mechanic that
isn't more than an hour or so away from me.

Hey, shouldn't you change your handle?

C'mon, you know you want to. It's a lot lighter than your new beast, but with the same engine. First ride's free...

A good friend of mine forwarded me this link...grrr. I had an '01 black on tan and sold it in '02. I dearly miss it

My '02 TT is no where near as fast or handles the way the coupe did, but it is more comfortable. I am thinking of selling it....I'm tempted to figure out a way to finagle selling the TT hmmm

;)

Niiiiiiice.

It *is* fun. But no room. Must compliment you on your choice of bike, as well. Tho currently I'm afraid to take my CS in for service, as I'm getting the itch for something faster. eeek. Danger! Danger!

I just noticed the sig. Cool! When I have moola, I want to try the fuel injected 650. But I was talking to a friend who worked at Ride West a few years ago, and he put the 650 as the least powerful but most fun of the BMW bikes.
