Hey Guys,

I took my car to the dealership because it was making a vibrating noise from the bottom of the car.

The dealer just fixed it and said it is not covered under the CPO.

Here is what he said:
FIXED THE NOISE...WE FOUND IT COMING FROM THE UNDERCARRIAGE THERE IS A STEEL
PLATE CALLED A STRESS PLATE.WE REMOVED THE BOLTS ADJUSTED IT AND RESECURED
THE BOLTS THEN DROVE IT AGAIN AND NOISE IS GONE

Hmm - how much was the cost and did they fix it before tell you what the issue was and how much it would cost you. I have never heard of that before so not sure if CPO should have covered it

No they did not tell me how much it is, they just fixed it.
It's $150, should I speak with BMW USA

Lol not for $150. Your going to spend more time trying to get that money back. Let it go

you need to get a copy of the CPO and understand what it covers. CPOs cover much less then a original factory warranty. A common misunderstanding. $150 is 1 hour of labor at a dealer. Not enough to trouble with IMO. Id be happy to pay 150 to have the problem fixed.

Did you just get the car? If so then this is something they missed during inspection. Also, sometimes this plate is removed when doing an oil change.

I got the car couple of months ago.

Everything was find until the full warranty expired 1 month ago now this vibration sound and DVD Drive does not work.

I just however paid them $150, but they want $1400 to replace the dvd drive.
