My bluet was not working and the dealer changed it out. $3K for the TCU parts and another $1K for labor. No difference in functionality eventhough the new version is 2.47 vs the original which was v1.x (I think 1.0). I thought the new TCU would have functionality like the 2012 models, but no luck, it is still the old version with very limited and clunky capabilities. Any idea how one can get an upgrade to the new version of functionality. I put a new navigation dvd in the car also and that also just slightly improved the mapping. So what to do with the TCU?

What?? $4K for the TCU? It should not cost more than $1k, h/w is around $650 + 3hrs labor.
The new unit is probably remanufactured with the old functionality, I don't think u can swap with a newer 2012 TCU cause the mapping is diff. As long as the b/t and other voice commands work, then you should be good.
