Quick question to the guys who have already done the interior facelift.

I have the chance of facelifting the interior trims of my e66 as a friend of mine is breaking his 2007 e66 and said i should come take off what ever i want before he scraps it.

I wanted to take his silver trimmings i.e the cd changer cover, ac/heating control panel, start/stop button trim and light switch trim, i will also try and take various other parts which i can open and take.

I understand that I will have to change some wiring behind the ac/heater controls in order to get it to work with my AUC, but which wires do i need to change?

Help would be appreciated guys, also going to take the sat nav unit in the trunk and the facelift cd changer so i can plag mp3s.

The AC controls,Changer, key trim and light switch should not require any wiring changes. I did mine and it works fine.

Yeh but i read on StuartJOHNS post that the wiring needs to change otherwise a function of the climate control is permanently disabled

MMI Screen =yes. The other items don't require coding. They're plug in play.
