Well the time came...about 3 weeks ago I traded in my 2007 750 with 96,312 miles for a 2012 Corvette Grand Sport. I got 24 for the 750 and went on with the deal from there. I just want to say that you group of guys have always provided accurate informatoin and quick responses to questions over the past 3 years. I bought the car in may of 2008 with about 33,000 miles on it. Bought the maintenance warranty that lasted up to 100,000 miles. I never really had any issues besides my amp dying 5 times and having to be replaced 5 times....battery died randomly once...other than that I honeslty never had any issues. The maintenance warranty and awesome people at Performance BMW in Durham covered all costs of all my oil changes, brake changes, and AMPS(luckily).

I got the vette because I always wanted one honestly......i'm 28...no kids..and wanted something sporty with 2 doors. The Grand Sport is just that....I couldn't find a better two seater under 60k..i looked at a e550 coupe but they're too small...I'll be back to the BMW world one day.

See ya guys:thumbup:

Congrats with new vette;)

Drove one for a week, but I would better get 6 series instead.

5 times L7 replaced???!!!!!! Within a year????? My fixed one never had any issues at all within 1,5 yr.

Damn that Vette looks absolutely bad ass! Congrats, I really like the way the silver brings out the aggressive lines on the GS...and the wheels are pure

Sorry to see you go, but cant hate on switching to the Grand Sport. I love that thing. I have been able to drive a few of them and its a great car! Unbeatable for the money! Its asking to have some nice Forgestar F14s (http://www.modbargains.com/Forgestar-F14-Wheels-Chevrolet-19-Inch.htm) thrown on it ;) You gonna do anything to it you think?

you know me bro, the lower the miles the better. I was about to pull the trigger on a new er 750 and after some quick calculations, figured i lose some crazy $$ everytime I swap out the Bmw. Might as well swap out my vette and get something that will at least hold the $$ better. Ohh and its insane too.

LOL I hear ya. That was a great decision to replace the C5 with the viper rather than take another hit on your 2nd E65. I bet that car turns heads when you give her a little gas. "Fire RED" too! :bigpimp:

Nice....didn't wanna get the Z06 because I don't like driving a manual and I wanted to take roof off...also I don't have time for any "valve issues"..I barely had any probs with my 7 and want the same for the vette.....1bad540 good luck on the viper man that thing sounds mean.......I was looking for something clean, fast, low miles(o), and affordable.....the GS fit my needs...I drove from Raleigh to Charlotte in a rainstorm friday night because I wanted to test out how the car drives in the rain....I was delighted...think i found the right choice.
